Today we focused on building our knowledge on camera shots and camera angles. We watched videos and analyzed our findings, ranging from how the camera angle and shot effects the viewer, to why each and every angle is chosen for a specific reason and why it is important.
Storyboarding
- We also learned about what storyboarding is, what it is for, and how to do it. Storyboarding is the fundamental steps of the film you make, it depicts the shot and camera angle with a brief caption of the scene, it is basically the outline of your whole film.
- In the process of storyboarding the colors red and blue and black are used. The color blue is used to show the camera angle and shot while the color red depicts movement or actions. Black is simply a drawing of the subject and background of the scene using stick figures and things of that manner.
- You then provide a caption for the storyboard explaining what is happening in the scene and that is the whole process of storyboarding, which simply helps to effortlessly create a film.
