Creative Critical Reflection

       CREATIVE CRITICAL REFLECTION

After a long time of hard work and effort, the creative critical reflection has been completed.

Completed Film Intro

                                 ITS DONE

The planning, filming, editing, re-editing again, has all now come to a close. Planning the film was simple with the process of storyboarding, where I outlined the first draft of the film. Filming was also a simple process, it just feels weird to be on camera and embarassing in public in my opinion, but I stuck it through and got the filming done. Editing was also a breeze, not much was needed besides needing to get put together and a couple sound effects. Overall, I'm very happy with how it came out and it definitely sparked an urge to create more films. The process was not hard, but kinda fun seeing how all of it can be put together in the end, it feels acomplishing seeing the finished product. Butttt I hope you all enjoy!

Issue With Film Intro

                          Editing/Final Touches

While editing and adding up the final touches to my film intro, I noticed that it was 3 minutes long. The length of the film is required to be a maximum of 2 minutes according to the rubric. So, I had to completely cut out the very beginning of the intro where I prepare the e-bike to Rideout to the gas station. After cutting out enough footage, I made the opening shot establish the setting and then the camera pans down to me riding past on the e-bike and it fit very well in my opinion.
Other than that, the editing process was quite simple. For certain transitions I used a fade-in because it would flow better than if had no transition, but most of the scenes flowed well without any transitions. Audio editing was also very simple as well. I searched up "gas station music" and "gas station door noise" and just simply incorporated them into the film to make it flow better and sound more official. I also added the song "goodnight everybody by Semo" at the end because it is a song that I listen to, and I also felt that it would be very fitting to the bike being gone.

Process of Critical Reflection

                        Answering The CCR

I was struggling to find methods to answer the critical reflection but then I researched into past student's blogs and Creative Critical Reflection and found a lot of useful information to formulate me with some ideas and helped me figure out what I was going to do.

I also went to my teacher Ms. Pistocchi for advice on my CCR. I had some ideas in mind, and she helped me develop them better and gave me approval of the 4 answering methods I will be choosing.

The four methods to answer the 4 questions I will use:
1. PowerPoint
2. Presentation with Voice Over
3. Podcast (with Soundcloud)
4. Presentation with face Cam

Planning Film Intro

There is an upcoming film intro and me my partner Zidane Francis have planed a film that we will name "The Late Corner store Run."

I will be the main character in the film opening and it involves the me (the main actor) going to a gas station on a bike and putting an  apple airtag on it when I leave it on the side of the gas station. This is a crucial part of the film because it lets the viewers know that the bike can be tracked. Then I walk into the gas station and buy an item and walk out. When I walk out of the gas station and around the corner to the side of the store, the bike is gone. Music then plays as it ends the intro where I pull out my phone to Track the bike and credits start rolling. The bike is able to be tracked so the bike being gone leaves the rest of the film to the process of getting the bike back, but this is just the film intro.

Materials That Will be Used: Iphone 12 Mini (recording device), Apple Airtag, E-bike.
